Moving Images Summer Program

Moving Images is a summer youth media arts program hosted by the Oregon Learning Lab for Information Education (OLLIE), Portland Community Media, and MetroEast Community Media.
The Moving Images Summer Youth Program is an intensive video arts and production program that focuses on creative storytelling, the collaborative artistic process, exposure to exemplary works of video/film art, and personal awareness of artistic goals.
Moving Images is offered to young people ages 14-18 throughout the Portland metropolitan area with an emphasis on underserved youth. The program will consist of two ten-day workshops held during July and August. Twenty youth will attend each workshop for a total of forty youth served. Four Mentor Media Artists will serve as program staff.
This program is offered at no cost to the participants.

Apply Today for Fall 2008 Partnerships!

We began accepting applications for the September - December 2008 Term on May 1, 2008.
Applications for the September - December 2008 OLLIE partnerships are due on June 8, 2008. A team of staff from OLLIE, Portland Community Media, and MetroEast Community Media will evaluate these applications and make a decision by June 30, 2008.
